“Shiva has numerous forms that encompass every possible quality that the human mind can perceive, and beyond. Among all these, there are five fundamental forms namely Yogeshwara, Bhuteshwara, Kaleshwara, Sarveshwara and Shambho. This chant takes on a special relevance during Mahashivratri2019, celebrated as one of the largest and most significant among the sacred festival nights of India. This – the darkest night of the year – celebrates the Grace of Shiva, who is considered the Adi Guru or the First Guru, from whom the yogic tradition originates.
